Needlelace (Embroidery Skills)

This work shows how the stitches of the traditional Belgian and French needlelaces can be used and adapted by contemporary lacemakers to achieve new effects. Needlelace stitches that are particular to special types of lace are shown and illustrated in photographs and line drawings.
