The chlorine-free formula is color-safe, septic-safe, hypoallergenic, environmentally-friendly and biodegradable, like the rest of Nellie’s products.
- HOW TO USE NELLIE'S LAUNDRY SODA: Use one tablespoon for each regular sized load. Wash according to instructions on garments. Always test on garments that may bleed or fade.
- HOW TO USE NELLIE'S OXYGEN BRIGHTENER: For Machine Wash: small loads – 1 tablespoon; regular loads – 2 tablespoons; large loads – 3 tablespoons. Use 3 tablespoons for very dirty or stained clothing. // For Pre-Soak or Hand Wash: Separate whites from colors. Use only one tablespoon along with Nellie’s Laundry Soda in 10 L (2.6 gallons) of WARM or HOT water. Soak for 1/2 hour then rinse thoroughly.
Liquid detergents are made up from at least 50% water. At Nellie's we don't think selling you water and moving water around the planet is a very good idea. The fact is, more cleaning power can be packed into a smaller space using powder.
Nellie's Laundry Soda Ingredients: Sodium Carbonate, Linear Alcohol Ethoxylate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Metasilicate.
Nellie's Oxygen Brightener Ingredients: Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Percarbonate, Sodium Sulfate, Primary Linear Alcohol Ethoxylate. DO NOT USE: on wool, silk or leather. Not for use on jewelry, latex, paints or wood.

Can I use bleach with the Laundry Soda?
Nellie always believed in a greener world, that's why all our products are 100% biodegradable and eco-friendly. We don't suggest using bleach liquid as it harms the environment and your fabrics. Also, we don't suggest mixing any Nellie's products with Chlorine, Ammonia products or any other chemicals as it may cause an unwanted chemical reaction. As a "greener" alternative to bleach, add Nellie's Oxygen Brightener.
Is the Oxygen Brightener to be used with the Laundry Soda?
Yes, add 1-3 scoops (depending on the size of your load) of Oxygen Brightener together with the Laundry Soda.
