New Methods in Moss Gardening is a hands on introduction to growing moss. Using either traditional or new methods you can learn to grow luxuriant mosses carpets of many different species.

This book is based on many years of research as well as the feedback from almost ten years of seminars and classes. Twelve of the common mosses found in nature including the ones most often used in Japanese gardens are featured.

More than one hundred color pictures of mosses in the author's moss gardens are in the book. The author has designed three new public moss gardens and serves as a consultant for many other public gardens.
