Cracking under the awful strain of his job, the President of the United States had lost his mind. Yet with a lunatic's cunning he was able to conceal it even from his closest friends. Then one night he slipped. Secluded in his country retreat, he blurted out his mad schemes to Jim MacVeagh, the senator from Iowa.
