Ninjaflex is one of those materials that can make a huge difference to any project.

This material has a great many uses and it's pretty amazing stuff. It's clear that time and research needs to go into flexible materials. As far as the results go, most prints turn out well. It works surprisingly well with overhangs and can hold a decent amount of detail. Just don't expect the Ninjaflex to hold detail as well as PLA or other hard materials. It does have a tendency to contract and curl upwards during prints, especially with small details. Larger shapes and joints are an excellent use for Ninjaflex.
I was a little bit wary of trying this, especially as I have only been 3D Printing for a month, but decided it had potential and decided to take the plunge.
Firstly, I should say that it is VERY soft - even more than I had imagined - think well-cooked spaghetti.
That meant, for me at least, all kinds of problems getting it to feed. After doing some research and gathering up my courage to disassemble my print head, I modified the feed assembly with a part downloaded from thingiverse.
It also has to be printed at a slower rate than ABS or PLA.
But the results are astonishing. I can print to a glass plate at 35C with no adhesion problems and no raft needed, and there's no clean-up to do.
I reckon it works out about four times the cost of ABS, but the results are worth it.
I found that this glow-in-the-dark NinjaFlex doesn't print nearly as nicely as my black NinjaFlex filament does. It feeds well through my extruder and hot-end, but it doesn't give the same quality as the black. I have printed my black flexible at speeds around 2400mm/min with no problems, although the recommended speed is more in the 1200-1600 range. The glow-in-the-dark feature brings a lot of WOWs. I've also noticed that the flexible filaments seem to cause more stringing between hot-end travel movements. My printing software/slicer has setting so eliminate all or most of this, giving a reasonably good quality print. I recommend that users NOT use high infill rates. This will do quite nicely right around 15%-20%. I printed at considerably higher infill settings and it makes the final print fairly stiff and, sometimes, hard. It will take a bit of experimenting to see what it will make it print well on your printer. Probably the biggest thing is the print speed. Start...
