Each line includes a professionally spliced stainless steel thimble to allow for easy attachment to your anchor or chain. The double braided nylon construction provides superior strength to most other three-strand nylon ropes and is also easier to handle.

Selecting the Right Anchor Line

One of the most popular rules of thumb when selecting an anchor line size is to have 1/8" of anchor line diameter for every 9' of boat. In other words, 3/8" anchor line would be suitable for most boats up to 27'. Appropriate sizing may vary depending on boat type, anchoring conditions, and other factors.

Sizing Table and Breaking Strengths:
3/8" diameter rope: 4000 lbs; for boats up to 27'
1/2" diameter rope: 5200 lbs; for boats up to 36'
5/8" diameter rope: 9000 lbs; for boats up to 45'
3/4" diameter rope: 11200 lbs; for boats up to 54'
