Soil Guard excels in both indoor and outdoor high traffic entryways, and can be hosed off for easy cleaning. The 350 version is available with a silicon carbide grit surface for additional traction. Test - Test Description - Results: (1) Abrasion Resistance ASTM D3884-01 - Test specimen is subjected to the rubbing action of two abrading wheels under controlled conditions. Results measured in Weight loss (Grams) - 3.33 Grams (7.8 percent). (2) Accelerated Wear - Test specimen is subjected to the action of rollers under a specified load. Sample is rotated 10 degree after each pass. Results measured in thickness loss (percent) - 0.00 percent (No measurable loss). (3) Colorfastness - Test specimen is exposed to a predetermined amount of radiant energy. The lightfastness is assessed by comparing portions of the sample with the AATCC Gray Scale to evaluate color change. - (Based on visual inspection) 4.5. (4) Water Retention - Test specimen is submerged in water for 5 minutes, removed, drained for 15 seconds and weighed. Results measured in weight gain. (Gallons per square yard) - 0.02.
