"Works with 3"" to 4-1/2"" residential hinges with 1/4"" diameter pin. Be sure to have at least a .25 inch space between your trim and the hinge barrel. The two cams need to contact the hinge plate on both sides in order for the product to perform optimally."
NOTE : Be sure to have at least a 1/4 inch space between your trim and the hinge barrel. This way the door saver will not damage your trim. If the hinge is smaller than 3-5/8 inches, the pin will extend out from the bottom of the hinge.
