OTC 4623 CV Joint Banding Tool with Cutter
- Ideal tool for use when installing and tightening the 'band-it' or strap style clamps found on CV joint boots, steering gear boots, or hoses
- Once installed into the tool, tighten the band by turning the handle on the tool; use a socket or wrench on the handle to torque the band to OE specifications
- When the boot clamp has been tightened to specs cut the band to the correct length by flipping the lever (at the front of the tool) forward
- Crafted from high-grade materials to ensure quality performance over the lifetime of the tool
Use to install and tighten the "band-it" or strap style clamps on CV joint boots or on power steering rack and pinion steering gear boots. Once installed into the tool tighten the band by turning the handle on the tool; use a socket or wrench on the handle to torque the band to OE specifications. When the boot clamp has been tightened to specs cut the band to the correct length by flipping the lever (at the front of the tool) forward.
