- OTC 6020 Cam Positioning Tool for select Ford engines - pair
- Designed to work in conjunction with OTC's 6009 Cam Positioning Tool to hold cams in correct position when servicing, preventing accidental timing changes which can cause severe engine damage
- Use with OTC's 6009 is mandatory for all applications - the 6009 set holds the camshafts in place using the slots found on the 6020 for correct positioning
- For use on select 1992 to 2012 Ford vehicles equipped with 4.6L and 5.4L V8, and 6.8L V10 engines - see product description below for a detailed list of applications
- Tool performs the same function as Ford No. 303-413 (T92P-6256-A)
Quick and accurate service of today's late model valve trains can be accomplished by using the Ford cam positioning tools. A critical procedure on computer-controlled vehicles. A camshaft can be timed in error, but the motor will still run. The ECM compensates for the error, but the performance and mileage will be affected, and the vehicles "check engine" light may come on at some point. So it's very important to be accurate on positioning the cam.
