Product Description
Oklahoma State Souvenir Flour Sack Dish Towel
If you like the look of the 1940's and 1950's vintage kitchen, this is a fun memento for reminiscing about your travels. The red and gold border surrounds the map with blue and green accents. Wonderful gift for the Oklahoman in your life or travel souvenir memento featuring the towns and sites of the 46th state of Oklahoma. Cities and sites are depicted on this 22 inch square absorbent kitchen dish towel. The images used to design these textiles were created in the United States during the 1940's and 1950's. Every product is 100% cotton and screen-printed with colorfast inks a carefully reproduced flour sack fabric which easily marries with the designs of that period. The fibers remain soft and durable, after multiple washings. While flour sack material is known for its durability and simplicity, it should be noted that the process of creating it is actually complex and expensive as the fabric is made several inches larger, then shrunk to the desired size before printing, cutting, and hemming. These would be serviceable and clever for servers in restaurants. It would also be beautiful framed and hung on your wall!
