How to cook using The Perfect Artichoke: Take "The Perfect Artichoke" and measure around the widest part of the artichoke. Cook the artichoke for the corresponding time. (FOR MEASUREMENT PURPOSES ONLY. REMOVE FROM ARTICHOKE BEFORE COOKING.) To Steam: Fill a pot with approximately 3 inches of water, bring water to a boil and place the artichokes upright in the pot. Cook the artichokes for the amount of time specified by the strip. For best results, place artichokes on steam rack above the water line. To Microwave: Place the artichokes in a microwave-safe covered bowl with 1/4 cup of water for each artichoke. Cook for the specified time at high power.
