- Cool Blocks Band Saw Blade Guides replace standard metal or plastic guides and enhance cutting performance!
- Cool Blocks blade guides allow blades to run cooler and last longer with less friction.
- For Shopsmith Band Saws. Contains: 2 guide blocks 3/8″ x 3/8″ x 7/8″ and 2 guide blocks 3/8″ x 1/4″ x 1-5/8″
- Includes: 4 band saw blade blocks Please note the actual dimensions of the Cool Block can be smaller than its nominal dimension by up to 0.05″. For example a 1/2″ Cool Block may measure 0.45″. This is to allow for expansion due to humidity.
For Shop smith Band Saws. Contains: 2 guide blocks 3/8" x 3/8" x 1" and 2 guide blocks 3/8" x 1/4" x 11â„2".Cool Blocks blade guides are made from a high tech, non-metallic composite material, "Graphite Impregnated Phenolic Laminate" which contains three synthetic dry lubricants that lubricate the blade but do not make it oily. The metal to metal contact made by old metal guide blocks creates heat and friction which cause premature blade wear and breakage.
