John Scott, Organist and Director of Music at St. Thomas Church, Fifth Avenue, played a recital at Washington National Cathedral on June 25, 2006, that was recorded for CD release.

This CD includes transcriptions of works by Wagner and Handel, modern works by Jonathan Harvey and Ad Wammes and superbly played standards of the organ literature.

The 32-page booklet comes with detailed notes on the music, a full stop list, numerous photographs and a fascinating interview with Mr. Scott by New York Times Assistant Managing Editor Craig Whitney.
