This story is based on an actual event, a rescue operation jointly carried out by the Republic of Korea Navy and the Combined Maritime Forces, of the United States and the European Union. On January 21, 2011, a Korean merchant ship Samho Jewelry and twenty one innocent sailors were kidnapped by thirteen Somali pirates in the vicinity of Indian Ocean. Cheong-Hae(Blue Ocean) Escort Task Group(Korean Destroyer, UDT/SEAL, LYNX Helo) chased after the pirates and executed a rescue operation, named â€œOperation Dawn of the Gulf of Adenâ€

While depicting the full spectrum of the operation, the story brings the readers' attention to the nature demonstrated in the pirates' conflict as well as the broker's greed and shamelessness.

People tend to judge things based on their own measurements of justice. They insist that they are right or others are wrong. If everyone is right, what is justice? In this story, a navy seal warrior must rescue the kidnapped sailors and the vessel even if that mission would take him to death. A young pirate must take any sacrifice in order to make the kidnapping successful. And there is a ruthless broker who only cares about maximizing his ransom. Where is justice?

This novel consists of three volumes and can easily be enjoyed on in separate volumes or in full-length version. This is a fiction. However, what happened during the legendary rescue operation, "Operation Dawn of the Gulf of Aden," is true.
