At Jiva Organics, we take great care in selecting the finest ingredients and in our method of preparation. We are committed to producing premium quality handcrafted Ghee through our cooking process. OUR PROCESS - We make our Ghee with only USDA Organic butter in small batches on an open flame in stainless steel stockpots. USDA Organic Unsalted Sweet Cream Butter is carefully melted, brought to a boil, and then simmered on a low flame. The milk solids separate and the water begins to evaporate. The butter is then simmered until milk solids caramelize and settle to the bottom. The butter completely clarifies and changes to Ghee. Ghee is then allowed to cool completely and then passed through a triple filter to ensure all milk solids are removed.
