Our Daily Prayers offers nothing that is especially new. Indeed the editor’s goal has been to avoid novelty in all things apart from the presentation. He has sought rather to compile and arrange materials that are not readily available in a single, affordable and easily approachable format. It is hoped that this small book will provide a brief introduction to prayer in the Anglican tradition, not as textbook with lessons, but a friendly companion to the novice and experienced alike.
