An individual wounded inside fears further rejection. He comes under pressure to change who he is in order to find love, and to reject the truth of who God created him to be. This pressure wears him down, and eventually creates abnormalities in his behavior. This is by the design of his enemy. The devil hates love. He is opposed to God, who is Love.

The perfect love of Jesus casts out fear (1 John 4:18). The Spirit of the Lord restores our soul, and our confidence in who we truly are. Jesus is working to edify and strengthen us. In this moment, your Savior wants to assure you of how valuable you are to Him and to His Kingdom. He wants you to become stable in His love, and to find a new freedom from the chains of the enemy.
