PCS 10K Load Resistor for LED Lighting (ILR-10K)

If your LED fixtures or bulbs have issues with turning off all the way or flickering at specific dim levels, use the PCS 10K Load Resistor for LED Lighting to solve this problem. The resistor wires in parallel with the LED load between the switch load wire (RED) and the neutral wire (WHITE). Because the resistor dissipates only 1.4W at 100 percent brightness, its heat generation is minimal enough that it can be placed directly behind a dimmer switch or right at the load/fixture. At lower brightness levels, dissipates even less than 1.4W. NOTE: Must be wired in parallel, not in series. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician only. The circuit breaker or WS1DL must be turned off during installation. Installation must be carried out in accordance with all applicable codes and requirements, including, but not limited to, the National Electrical Code (NEC).
