Finger limes are grown throughout California by specialty farmers who focus on organic and sustainable practices. These finger limes are harvested at optimal ripeness and shipped promptly. This 40gram package of finger limes contains 4-7 finger limes, (approximately 1-1.5 inches in length) and is the ideal quantity for a meal serving 4-6 people. Upon receipt place in refrigeration for maximum shelf life. Finger limes will typically last 2-4 weeks. You will know your finger lime has expired when you see mold growing on the exterior of the fruit. IMPORTANT: The rind and interior pearls have a natural color variation which is completely normal. The rind may be a bright green, dark green, or a brownish purple. The interior pearls may be a green, a champagne, or a light pink color. Finger limes are not actually related to a lime and therefore do not have the same coloring as a lime.
