The EPC, Third Edition course is a comprehensive NAEMT education program for EMS practitioners on the care of sick and injured children, addressing the full spectrum of emergency illnesses, injuries and scenarios that an EMS practitioner might encounter. While there are few pediatric encounters in the field, there are even fewer critical pediatric encounters and having the ability to differentiate those children who are in need of quick treatment and transport and those who do not, is essential.
