- No Logo! It's tempting to put our company logo on these silicone hoses as most of our competitors do. However, many of our customers have told us that they prefer a nice clean engine compartment without any unnecessary visual distractions. Therefore, we have resisted the temptation to add our Pegasus logo.
Tough, reliable and temperature resistant from -50Â° C to +200 degrees C (-58 degrees F to +392 degrees F). This hose is built for endurance and performance in custom coolant and turbo intake plumbing applications where a tough and secure flexible connection is required. Black silicone rubber construction with 3-ply reinforcement and smooth "wipe down" finish. All of our silicone hoses are hand crafted and quality inspected to the highest European standards. Straight reducers are approximately 4 inches long overall. Use with our Aluminum Splicing Nipples (Part No. HJ38 and HJ45) and Lined Hose Clamps (Part No. 3613-2.25) to construct the exact bends and lengths you need. This size is rated over 40 psi working pressure and 225 psi burst pressure. Note: This hose is NOT formulated for use in oil or fuel plumbing applications. It will survive occasional spills and oil leaks, but it will not stand up to continuous exposure to petroleum.
