* PROS: Portable, decent, better than average construction, semi-in-the-ear
* CONS: slighly pricey, improper cord end rubber protection, moderate bass response (due to size)

* If you want something portable with respectable sound quality, these ear buds are better than the average flat ones.
* If your ear canals tolerate them, you could go for in-the-ear style rubber plug ear buds which would be a little more powerful and block out more outside sound.
* If you want skull pounding bass, get a set of over the ear, muff style, studio grade headphones.

Pretty standard construction, so the price is a little too retail for what your get.

However, these are among the very few earbuds which have the small nub that channels the sound into your ear canals.

For my auricles, the tragus almost completely obstructs the external auditory meatus. This means that flat ear buds project sound against a... Read more
I have looked around for several earphones. I find that these are pretty great. I think that they have slightly better music quality than the ipod earphones and are much sturdier. The remote and mic work great. I used the mic to record my dogs barking in the car and even at being four feet away, you could here them with great clarity despite being a mic for just talking on a phone. The remote works very well. My one complaint and it doesn't really apply to everyone is that the earbud piece is a tad too big for my ears, I owned a pair of Bose in-ear phones before and I use the small ear attachment. Since these are a bit too big for my ears, it can become a bit uncomfortable with long usage. But they stay on the ear very well, I would recommend this to you if you work out at the gym, these will not fall out of your ears. If the ipod earphones fit you well, then these should work for you, they might be a teeny bit bigger in diameter.

Overall, these are great for the price, the... Read more
There is so much about this headset I love. I needed a new headset because my original iPhone 3gs headset with remote and mic was worn out. The rubber that was on the headset to hold it into place had fallen off.... I wanted to get a brand other than Apple for my new headset and decided on these. The sound quality that was coming from the headset is really great. The voice quality on the other end was always really good as well. I really loved the rubber ear pieces, they are comfortable and have a little noise canceling quality that was really cool. The bad about this headset is it is really fragile. Even more so than Apples oem headset. I wear my headset quite a bit, I listen to podcasts and use it exclusively to talk on the phone, so I was really bummed out that it didn't even last 3 months. So in the end I took the rubber ear pieces that I loved and superglued them onto my oem Apple headset. Works great now.....

comfort/noise... Read more
