This is the third and final book pertaining to John Masters' autobiographal work; I have just completed my first read, and intend to let it sink in and will read it again. The breadth and depth of his experience is mind boggling, authentic, and easy to read. Check out his other writings on Google and Amazon.com; buy them.
This book is number 3 of a trilogy. The first 2 deal with the author's experiences in India before, during, and after WW2....Pilgrim Son is a bit disappointing. It deals with his immmigration to the US and how he adapted to living in the NYC area and in California. Not too bad, but did not hold my attention as well as the others.
