The molding machine has a self-regulating heater that warms up quickly and maintains a consistent temperature during use. It melts low-density polyethylene (LDPE) pellets (sold separately) to demonstrate how molded plastic shapes are produced. Its reservoir can hold enough LDPE pellets to produce two golf tees with the included golf tee injection mold. The mold is made of two aluminum plates to resist corrosion and tarnishing. The golf tee mold measures 2 x 3 x 1 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
