Make and serve your own delicious homemade pizza right from your oven or grill. This round cast iron pizza pan – a customer favorite – helps bake your food evenly. The usable area of the pan is 13" and the total measurement is 14.4". The pan also has two handles for easier transport.

HOW TO USE: Your cast iron pan is perfect for pizza, bread, pita bread, roasted potatoes and even cookies. We recommend use in the oven or on the grill. The pan can also be used on a gas stove top as a griddle.

OVEN: Preheat oven to 425° F (232° C). Pan is pre-seasoned, but we recommend either spraying pan with cooking spray or applying a thin coat of olive oil to promote browning of crust.

If making pizza, roll 14 to 16 ounces of pizza dough to 1/4" thickness and transfer dough to prepared pan. Top with your favorite ingredients and bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until cheese melts and crust is browned.

GRILL: We recommend using the indirect grilling method – placing the pan to the side of the heat source instead of directly over the flame. This method promotes even cooking.

CARE: To preserve the useful life of your cast iron product, hand wash with a mild dishwashing soap, rinse, and dry immediately. Cast iron is porous -- do not allow to soak. Do not wash in the dishwasher. Your cast iron pan will arrive pre-seasoned, but we also recommend applying a small amount of vegetable oil to the pan's surface from time to time to add more layers of seasoning.

We recommend removing pizza from pan before cutting to keep your pan in the best condition.

CAUTION: Pan will get hot. Use oven mitt or glove when handling.

There's a lot to like about this pan. Cast iron is durable, gives you better heat to really crisp up your crust, and you use it at such high heats the pizza is done in minutes. I picked this up b/c I've been making pan pizzas in a 10" cast iron skillet, but wanted to make a larger flatter pie with the same process. Just one pizza in and I'm glad I went with this pan.

This is one of the cheaper pans out there, and there are some design elements that keep me from giving it five stars. The handles are really tiny, which does make things challenging b/c an iron pan this size is really flipping heavy. And the lip around the edge did make getting the pizza onto a cutting board an adventure. Basically, super-hot pan + tiny handles + edge lip = potential for disaster, but with the right tools you can work around it.

The best pizza I ever made is on this pan, and that is no exaggeration. I've been trying to make homemade pizza for many years, I can get the topping done just fine but the crust never came out very good until I trod it with this pan. Now my pizza comes out looking professional with a crispy crust. I am thrilled with the results! This is not my go-to pan for pizza or anything that needs a nice crispy texture to it. The pizza did not stick and I did not preheat the iron pan (I usually would but I'm experimenting with a high hydration dough that is virtually impossible to handle because its so gooey). I simply preheat the oven, press the dough onto the room temperature cast iron pizza pan with my fingers (making sure that its as even/level as possible, then sauce and toppings. Slide it in to the hot oven and bake. You'll have to experiment to figure out the time and temperature for your weather condition, elevation, humidity and own performance.
