- The Planted Seat Bracket is a vehicle specific bracket used as an adapter between the floor of the vehicle and an aftermarket seat and it's accessories.
- Because the floor of each vehicle varies and typically is not flat, a vehicle specific Seat Bracket is required for installing an aftermarket seat.
- Planted brackets are strong. They are made from 3/16th inch steel making the welds stronger and more durable.
- Planted brackets will not bend or warp with heat whereas other brackets can be bent by hand.
- Planted brackets are more versatile with predrilled slots for sliders from most major aftermarket seat manufacturers like Braum, Bride, Cipher Auto, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sabelt, Sparco, Status, Takata, etc.
Planted Seat Hardware Kit includes 8 each of button head cap screws in 8mm x 1.25 thread pitch & 20mm in length, washers & nyloc nuts. This hardware kit will allow you to mount an aftermarket seat in the following configurations: Bottom Mount Seat: A) Seat to sliders and sliders to Planted Seat Bracket. B) Seat directly to Planted Seat Bracket.* Side Mount Seat:** A) Side Mounts to Sliders and sliders to Planted Seat Bracket. B) Side Mounts directly to Planted Seat Bracket.* *Direct mounting without sliders will require some drilling. **Most side mount seats do not include hardware to attach the side mounts so a Planted SIde Mount Hardware Kit may be needed as well. .
