Platypod Ultra is a flat tripod designed for the photographer on the go. Ultra was designed for mirrorless cameras but also supports smaller DSLRs and lenses, off camera flashes like magmods, and light weight equipment like phones and GoPros. Ultra's larger brother Max is designed for heavy and large gear like DSLRs with telephoto lenses and full-size video cameras. Ultra comes with a twenty-inch cinch strap to wrap it to poles or branches. It also comes with 4 "spike feet" that act like legs. Use one for grip on uneven surfaces, three like a traditional tripod, or all four to spike into the ground or screw into objects. Each screw is 2 inches long with heavy-duty rubber caps and locking nuts. You can even use Ultra on top of a standard tripod with a 1/4-20 accessory hole to easily transition from eye level on a tripod to ground level with the just the Platypod.
