Poli Ox is a powder cleaner that will remove HEAVY oxidation from light or dark colored fiberglass. In addition, Poli Ox will also remove rust stains, mineral deposits, fish blood, scum line, and brown water stains. Poli Ox can also be used to clean and polish stainless steel, chrome, aluminum, bronze, brass, copper, glass (will not scratch the glass) and to clean and brighten teak. The 3M Scotch-Brite ultra fine pad is recommended for use with heavy oxidation, especially colored fiberglass. Once the oxidation is removed, confirm that the surface color is uniform without light variations. Make sure to rinse all residue off of the surface with fresh water, then apply Poli Glow over the sanded finish. The 3M Scotch-Brite pad is equivalent to 1200 wet and dry sandpaper, but more durable than sandpaper.
