This converter is a component (YPbPr) video converter that allows older analog devices to be integrated seamlessly into the modern home theater. The device has a built-in scaler that will allow you to adjust the output signal to a resolution (720p/1080p) that is compatible with your HDMITM enabled display. This adapter connects component video home theater devices to HDMI compliant digital monitors. It also takes analog R/L audio and encodes it onto the HDMITM signal for the full HDMITM video and audio effect. With the Component + Analog R/L Audio to HDMITM Adapter legacy home theater devices can be easily connected any HDMITM display for the full digital video and audio experience.
