Posi Lock HP-40 Large Hub Collar Adapter, 0 to 2” Hub Range, For Use With HP-1 and HP-2

This Posi Lock HP-40 large hub collar adapter is for use with the HP-1 and HP-2 hub puller adapters (sold separately), which simplify removal of many industrial fans, automotive fans, and blower wheels. It has a 0 to 2” hub range and four set screws that secure the collar to the hub for extraction. It is made of steel to help prevent rust and corrosion. It is suitable for use with chillers, freezers, condensers, ice machines, furnace fans, convection ovens, exhaust and ventilation fans, defrost and air conditioning fans.

Gear and bearing pullers are tools designed to remove mechanical, press-fit parts, such as bearings, bushings, gears, and pulleys, from a shaft, or to remove a shaft from inside a hole. Pullers have three main parts—the center bolt, gripping jaws, and T-handle—and can be operated manually or hydraulically. Pullers can be used manually or can be powered by a hydraulic cylinder, adding speed and precision, and reducing the physical labor required for pulls. With a hydraulic puller, compressed air is forced through the cylinder by a pump that is either connected by hose to the puller or is integral to it.
