The xm 680 employs a faster, more effective, more convenient, & more energy efficient mechanism by using kinetic energy transferred from the high-density flywheel action to split logs more quickly & effortlessly than any of our other electric log splitters. There is only a minimal# of moving parts, so it is easier to operate & troubleshoot compared to other products that operate using various hoses, valves, pumps, & pistons, any which one that can develop problems at any time.
