Slim design inserts from underneath the filter housing and catches the base of the cartridge for a secure grip.
A short quarter turn loosens the filter, reducing the effort needed when wet surfaces make hand turning difficult.
Helps when larger hands cannot fit into the narrow space around the K5 filter or when extra leverage is preferred.
