- For use on older vertical sliding windows constructed of wood
- These locks mount on the check (or “meeting”) rails of single and double hung sash where their checkrails rest flush when closed
- Replacing loose-fitting, worn or missing sash locks can help restore and increase the safety and security of the home or office
- Features cam-type locking mechanism designed to grab and pull the keeper and meeting rails firmly together, providing tighter seals and increased security
- Lock has 1-3/4 inch mounting hole centers, keeper has mounting holes spaced apart at 1-1/2 inch, on center
- Constructed of steel and diecast zinc and comes in an antique brass-plated finish
- Included with each package are one lock body, one keeper, installation fasteners and simple instructions
- Both the locks and keepers can be installed with a simple handheld Phillips screwdriver
