Norse God Freyr Wood Finish Statue Pagan Fertility

Freyr is a Norse god who governs Sun, Rain, Crops, Agriculture and Fertility. He is known as Lord of the Mound, the bringer of prosperity for those who work for it, and leader of the Alfs. This statue of Freyr is from Dryad Designs and artist Paul Borda. The scene on the back depicts Freyr and Gerd, a giantess who Freyr wanted to be with so badly, he gave up his fabulous Sword to Skirnir as payment to find her. It is a cold cast resin replica of the original, which took over 300 hours to complete. The statue stands 7 1/2 inches tall, is 3 3/4 inches deep, and is 3 3/8 inches wide. Made of cold cast resin, it is finished to give it the appearance of wood. The detail on the piece is incredible, from the knotwork on the base to Freyr`s rather turgid manhood.
