It has a melting point relatively close to human body temperature thus even though it is solid it melts on skin contact. The oil has a cooling sensation and is an effective emollient.
It is a much lighter oil that is quickly absorbed and soaked by the skin. Babassu oil soaks in quickly and doesn't have to be washed off that is what makes it a great whole body moisturizer.
It can be applied to the skin on its own or added to warm bath for a deep conditioning SPA like treatment.
