The Proscan DVD1053 is a great addition to any home theater. It is progressive scan with over 500 lines of definition and has a compact design making it easy to fit almost anywhere in your home entertainment setup. There is a 2-channel output for the DVD player and it is compatible with DVD/VCD/CDDA/CD-R/CDRW/MP3/HDCD/JPEG/Kodak formats. The DVD1053 also features component video output (Y,U,V), coaxial cable and S-video output, a built-in PAL/NTSC system, and a fully functional remote control.

Recorded onto some DVD discs are scenes which have been simultaneously shot from a number of different angles (i.e. the same scene is shot from the front, left side and right side, etc.).
