Proxxon 38644 Die-Cast Aluminum Power Carver MOS

The main housing is made of glassfiber-reinforced polyamide and features a gearbox casing made of die-cast aluminium for precise locations of the ball bearings and stability under load.
The tool is very safe, as the reciprocating action does not start until the chisel is pressed into the wood.
Cleanly carving with no dust and virtually no effort.
The rapid cutting action of the MOS (10,000 cuts per minute) allows the ability to do fine work like adding details as well as roughing out.

Proxxon 38644 Power Carver MSG for the carving and restoration of all types of wood. This tool takes the work out of your carving projects and can be used for numerous applications; e.g., for the restoration of furniture and for the restoration of antiques, for linocuts and precision paint removal. It is also possible to process plaster. The special, balanced, low-noise DC motor has extreme high-life expectancy. The gear head is made of die-cast aluminum and the main housing is of fiberglass reinforced Polyamide. Technical Data: Speed 10,000 cuts/minute; Maximum Power is 1/10 horsepower; Volts 110 - 120 Volt AC and weight of the tool is 1.5 pounds. The Power Carver MSG comes in a high-grade polypropylene storage case with carrying handle. It is extremely stable and sufficiently large to enable the Power Carver to be replaced in it after completion of the work without difficulty refitting. The 38644 comes with three high-quality laminated steel (bi-metal) Japanese made carving blades (U-form, V-form and flat blade).

PROXXON Inc. warrants to the original purchaser only that all PROXXON consumer power tools will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
