Great rescue knife for the price! Pros: thin for comfort & concealment heavy-duty construction quality, sharp German steel blade sharp seat belt cutter (unusual for these knives) sturdy glass breaker nice, large blade feels good in the hand, especially in the reverse position Cons: very heavy (6.25oz) compared to one of my favorite folders at 3.6oz. Also wide. Feels fine on a belt, but too large & heavy for a pocket in my opinion Some of the parts don't line up perfectly, but at this price, & not $200, not a problem! I would prefer a blade finger flipper, but the knob works. I would prefer a cant, not totally straight, but good enough. Hope that helps! P.S. I am a certified First Responder.
Solid and heavy. When you open the box and pick up the knife, you realize how solid and heavy your $20+ purchase is. This is the real deal and not a cheap knockoff. I sharpened the blade, but others will be satisfied with the sharpness out of the box.
This is a utility knife - a knife to be used and not collected or admired. With the stonewashed finish, you can bang it around and probably never see evidence on the blade.
Really good knife for the money. 440a Steel from Germany vs. similar steel types from china. Ill take the Puma steel. 440a is a cheap steel, thats why these knives are low cost. Holds a good burr edge. You get what you pay for, and on the low end this is a good knife for the cost.
