Description
- Superior quenching power in initial stages of quench (the hardening range). Slow cooling in final stage of quench (the distortion range).
- Materials: Carbon Steel 1095, 1080, 1084. Suitable for use with Steels that require medium quench times to reach maximum hardness. Lower hardenability and low alloy steels, heavy sectioned components, or steels of borderline hardenability.
- High resistance to oxidation and thermal breakdown. Reduced sensitivity to the variable effects of agitation.
- This knife oil is recommended for use when parts must retain a bright finish. FUSION Quench adheres to the surface preventing the formation of deposits during the operation, thus preserving the bright finish
- Ideal quenchant for use when minimum distortion is required in high hardenability steels or in parts having odd shapes or variable sections.
