Here’s a closer look at what you can do with Quicken WillMaker Plus:Your WillThe heart of every estate plan is a will, also known as a last will and testament. This legal document puts you in control of who inherits your property and who would take care of your children if it were ever necessary. Without a will, state law determines these issues. Your will also allows you to name an executor (sometimes called a “personal representative”) to carry out our wishes. And you can appoint a trusted person to manage property left to young people. With Quicken WillMaker Plus, you can revise and update your will whenever you like.New for 2016: You can now use Quicken WillMaker Plus to give your executor authority over your digital assets, including social media accounts, online banking and more.Your Health Care Directive. Spare your loved ones difficult decisions by laying out your wishes for medical care and naming someone to carry out your instructions:• Health Care Power of AttorneyName a trusted person (your "health care agent") to make important medical decisions for you if necessary.• Living WillState what types of medical treatment you do or do not want if you are too ill or injured to direct your own care. Your health care providers must do all they can to follow your wishes.Your Durable Power of Attorney for FinancesA durable power of attorney ensures that someone you trust (called your "agent" or "attorney-in-fact") will be on hand to manage the many practical, financial tasks that will arise if you become incapacitated. For example, bills must be paid, bank deposits must be made and someone must handle insurance and benefits paperwork. In most cases, a durable power of attorney for finances is the best way to take care of tasks like these.New for 2016: You can now use the Quicken WillMaker Plus to give your attorney-in-fact authority over your digital assets.Your Final ArrangementsPlan a funeral or other ceremony and ease the burden on your loved ones. Describe your preferences for burial, cremation, memorials, obituaries and more.Documents for Your ExecutorMake sure your executor has all the forms and instructions necessary to do the job: checklists, letters, notices and claim forms.Information for Caregivers and SurvivorsOrganize your information so that your survivors don't have to. I've been using the Quicken WillMaker Plus software since 2011. It has changed very little since that time, but each year (as with most popular software) it is updated and a new version is put on the market. Older versions came with a book from Nolo explaining various legal terms and information about living trusts. The current 2016 version offers online access to the living trust software for free for 1 year, but that implies a subscription thereafter, however the cost of that access is unclear.
I purchased this, the newest version, more as a curiosity than a need. Having used both the 2011 and 2013 versions - neither is supported by Nolo anymore thus current legal changes (which may or may not be the case for your state) don't show up on the forms in the software. There's no way to tell if your state will have any changes to specific forms for years to come, thus using older versions of this software is probably OK - but there's no real way to know.
I purchased Willmaker for the first time in 2013 and used it to prepare advanced directives and wills for myself and my husband. Here in Texas we had to have them notarized with witnesses in attendance so my neighbors came over and a mobile notary came by to do her thing. For the cost of the software plus notary fee ($30) we both had everything in place in case something happened to either of us.
My husband had a massive stroke late in 2014 and was hospitalized so I provided the hospital a copy of his advanced directives which specified his wish to not be placed on a ventilator (which was what they planned to do had it not been for seeing his wishes in the advanced directive). My husband passed away and the will we prepared with this software had no problem at all in probate as everything was clearly specified and up to Texas legal standards. I'm so glad we used this software and had everything prepared.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
This is an Intuit product and feels exactly like you’d expect an Intuit product to feel – assuming you’ve used one such as Quickbooks or Turbo Tax. The meat of the program is a series of questions which can branch to options as needed. I used it to make my Will and supporting documents such as my Living Will or Advanced Health Directive.
OK, first a bit of disclaimer. I am married and have no separate property so, assuming I predecease my wife, my Will is almost meaningless. Still, having one is a suspenders added to a belt keeping things just that much more sure. I also made provisions in case we die at the same time such as in a car crash. I work hard to avoid such an eventuality.
The program comes with a Nolo book which is referred to at points in the interview process. There is also online information from Nolo/Intuit and with the program registration, you get a year’s support / updates. Unlike dealing with a lawyer, you have to hunt...
