- BATTERY OPERATED CLOCK REPLACEMENT MOVEMENT: Qwirly Quartz Dual Chime Movement is excellent replacement for Hermle, Sligh, Howard Miller, Seth Thomas and other battery operated clocks. Hermle has stopped manufacturing 2214, 2114 2115, 2115 quartz movements and this battery operated clock movement is very similar to the old Hermle one and features superior sound quality. Qwirly Quartz Dual Chime would also work great in any appropriately sized DIY clock kit. Hands and pendulum not included.
- DUAL CHIME: This Quartz Clock Movement plays two of the most popular melodies, Westminster Chime and Ave Maria with a crisp and clear sound. Remote two inch quality speaker system that can be mounted to the backside of the clock or at any desired place with 5.5" speaker lead wires. This movement can be used for pendulum driven or non-pendulum driven movements. When using for non-pendulum movement, please use a pendulum lock to keep the pendulum driver from swinging.
- CHOOSE THE MOVEMENT THAT IS RIGHT FOR YOUR CLOCK: please order the movement with the shaft length closest to the shaft length of the movement that you are replacing. This movement comes with 18mm and 23mm shaft lengths. You may order a slightly longer shaft length and add an extra washer to make it work. Take care not to order the movement with the shaft length that is too short as it will not work with your clock. Eurofit style hands.
- DIMENSIONS: 4 3/4" width, 5 1/4" height (measured at pendulum), 1 1/4" thickness. 2 1/2" speaker. Hand Shaft - 18mm or 23mm measured from the plastic base to the end of the metal tip. The thickness of the shaft is ¼” at the threaded metal part by the base and ⅛” at the white plastic non threaded part above. Please see a diagram for details. Use your old clock's hands or get a new set available in a wide variety of styles and sizes.
- PLEASE NOTE: design styles of the clocks and clock movements change per manufacturer’s discretion. Changes in movement styles DO NOT compromise the functionality of a movement. Adjustments may need to be made in order for the replacement movement to fit properly. The movement is battery operated and requires two CC batteries to operate. Please note that the batteries are NOT INCLUDED and must be purchased separately. Alkaline batteries always recommended. This movement is available in two hand shafts lengths: 18mm and 23mm. Please make sure you measure the hand shaft on your clock and order the right option. The movement comes with mounting hardware and instructions.
