RCD Corporation Glasscoat® Adhesive-Backed Fiberglass Mesh 3" X 180'

RCD Corporation's Glasscoat is an inorganic woven fiberglass mesh; coated on one side with pressure sensitive adhesive. Rolls are individually labeled and shrink wrapped. Glasscoat Adhesive Backed Fiberglass Mesh reinforces adhesives, coatings, mastics, and sealants used in the fabrication and installation of air ducts and thermal insulation. Glasscoat is also known by generic descriptions like: fiberglass scrim, fiberglass tape, and fiberglass cloth. Surfaces must be clean and free from algae, corrosion, dirt, grease, loose or chalking paint, mold, mildew, oil, scale, silicone, and water. Apply a tack coat of air duct sealant to the joint or seam of the air duct and embed Glasscoat into the duct sealant and apply a topcoat of duct sealant over the mesh and filling the mesh completely.
