RIKON's belt/disc sanders shape and sand your work-pieces with ease!  Effective on a variety of surfaces, these combination sanders add portable versatility to your workshop.  Their rotating discs use easy-to-apply pressure sensitive adhesive backed (PSA) sandpaper, and with their work tables offer great control for touching up board ends, rounding off corners, or sanding small parts.  The 50-161VS features a 6" disc and a 1" x 30" belt.  While the narrow belt width limits its sanding application to smaller pieces, its rear support platens are removable to allow the belt to flex, enabling you to sand curved pieces and deeper areas on your projects.  Other features include a 3/4HP variable speed motor to provide more control and better sanding performance.  Tracking knobs allow you to correctly position the belt on the frame, and the work table features locking handles and adjusts from 0 to 45 degrees for sanding angles.  The cast metal frame and base provide extra rigidity and stability, and the dust hood and port allow you to remove dust effeciently via your dust collector system.  RIKON's belt/disc sanders are wired for use with 3-wire 120V electrical receptacles.  The 50-161VS belt/disc sander is recommended for light duty use and is ideal for small craft projects such as home decorations, jewelry, toys, doll furniture, repair work, etc.  Comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty against defect in materials and workmanship.
