Rain Barrel Soaker Hose with male x female hose ends screws right on male garden hose thread (faucet) and is specially formulated to work with any rain barrel or other gravity fed system. It is a low flow, high output soaker hose that allows maximum output for flower and other garden areas. A 200 Mesh filter should be used in help keeping hose clean from foreign material in your barrel (bugs, roofing particles, dust, debris) from clogging the soaker hose (not included, available on Amazon). The rain barrel soaker hose is .580 od and can be cut and used with 580 compression fittings here on Amazon to make a custom layout. Use 540 Rain Barrel Timer to automatically water your garden, plants. Important: Clean your barrel at least twice a year. I have found dirt, slime, roof shingle debris, a mouse, and a bird in the barrel. Sometimes there so much gunk that water hardly comes out of the rain barrel tap. These are the main reasons someone says, it's doesn't work! Clean your barrel and always use a 200 mesh stainless screen filter.
