Please read the product description to see if the mica is permitted for lip or eye area use. All mica powders have been tested in cold process soaps and melt and pour. They work great in hot process soap making, too! They will not morph and fade like micas that haven't been tested in soap can often do. Avoid surprises in soaps with our micas!

We offer our colors in bags and jars. Our jars are big so the mica isn't messy to use. When you're done with the jar, buy the micas in bags at a lower price and refill the jar!

This is a Nurture Soap ® custom color. It is a common misconception that red micas may contain carmine. They do not. Carmine is used to make pink micas and it instantly fades in soap! If you have a pink mica and it fades to nothing in cold process, it most likely contains carmine. Nurture Soap is 100% dedicated to vegan and cruelty free.

A true red color is the nemesis of every soap maker. It is incredibly hard to find a true red that won't change color, fade out, bleed or migrate in soap - but here it is! This is the holy grail of red.
