This book reflects the authorâ‚¬s conception of the physical world. The first chapters may appeal to readers who are interested in different and unconventional aspects of the foundations of physics. These may be physics students or physicists interested in the foundations of physics. The book subsequent chapters would appeal more to quantum and particle physicists who are interested in new ideas. It begins with the authorâ‚¬s view of nature's fundamental laws and a discussion of the possible links between them. Such links may be related both to the two key processes in nature, namely interaction and decay, and to the concept of randomness. As randomness can be identified in both interaction and decay it is relevant to ask what is the origin of randomness and to comprehend its connection to the laws of nature. The explanation for randomness in the angular distributions, manifested in the interaction and decay processes in the form of the hidden variable in the particles involved, is, at this stage experimentally excluded. Therefore we suggest here to apply it only to the decay time process and to discuss its relation to the interconnection between the laws of nature. This leads us to the concept of a hidden variable in a new definition of existence time. The possible implications of the existence of a hidden variable in time may lead to a more profound definition of dimensions in nature. Moreover it may define an instant in a new way. The relationship between instants and the vacuum are discussed, and it is suggested that instants may be registered on the vacuum and therefore may also be reconnected and reconstructed under certain circumstances.
