Body Protective Compound Peptide. BPC-157 (also known as PL 14736) is a pentadecapeptide. It has the amino acid sequence: Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val. BPC is a protein that is present in stomach acid, discovered in the '90s. BPC 157 is a 15-amino-acid-long fragment of this protein that is synthetically produced.
