You have to simply connect the checker to any phone system, then call-in to check for low or falling temperature. If there is no problem, the phone will simply continue to ring. A tone on the line means there is a falling temperature or freeze condition. It works with your existing phone and answering machines. Has three temperature settings 40 degrees, 46 degrees or 52 degrees. No batteries are required and it plugs into any phone jag. Comes with a one year limited warranty.
