Replacement Battery Quartz Movement for Hermle 2214, 2215 or Any Clock, DIY Clock Kit with Howard Miller 354472 / Kieninger QPA11 Pendulum Unit, 16mm Shaft Length
- Howard Miller 354472 / Kieninger QPA11 Battery quartz movement, pendulum type. Uses 2 C batteries to operate. Batteries are NOT included. This is a direct replacement for the Hermle 2214 and 2215 models which are no longer in production.
- This movement is programed to play your choice of Westminster or Ave Maria chimes. It plays ascending chiming melody on each 1/4 hour, then plays the full melody at the top of the hour, then strikes the hour after playing the full melody. Can also be set to play just the full Westminster melody plus the hour strike at the top of the hour, without playing the ascending melody on the 1/4 hours.
- The movement has automatic night shut off and can be set to play 24 hours a day or set to shut off at night for 8 hours. Volume control. Speaker is 2 9/16" (66 mm) with 22 diameter magnet. 32cm speaker wires allow you to mount the speaker for the most advantageous sound. This is a very versatile quartz clock unit with superior sound quality allowing you to enjoy the convenience of the quartz clock but the rich and deep sound of the mechanical one.
- IMPORTANT: Please note the measurements carefully, particularly when using this as a replacement movement. We have the same movement available in different sizes so choose the correct one for your clock. This movement has 16mm (about 1/2”) stem length for dials up to ¼” thick. Please measure the length of the hand shaft on your existing clock movement from the front of the movement to the tip.
- Brand new and under warranty from Kieninger/Howard Miller. Comes with mounting nuts, washer, rubber spacer washer, minute hand nut, and installation instructions.
